Those of you who visited Osborne over the Christmas period last year will have seen the Christmas trees outside of Petty Officers' Quarters which Friends of Osborne funded and decorated. This year we hope to have four trees and will be running a series of craft workshops for those who would like to come along and help produce suitable weatherproof decorations (any ideas most welcomed). Come and join Toby, Osborne House’s Head Gardener, on his guided annual autumnal tour of the flora on the Osborne Estate. Enjoy his unique knowledge of the plantings of the Gardens and the trees of the Broad and Rhododendron Walks. Take this opportunity to photograph foliage as they change into their autumnal hues, all set against the backdrop of the Solent.

The workshop is open to members only. We will be creating a Victorian themed Christmas Wreath with foliage and greenery sourced from the Osborne Estate. This year in addition to making the wreaths you will also have the opportunity to produce a Christmas table decoration.
