Guided Talk of the Terraces and Walled Garden

Friday 17^th July 2026

10.30 - 12.30

(Meet at the green gate at 10.20)

We will gather in the courtyard by the Education Rooms at 10.30 and split into two groups of 12. Each group will have a talk which will last about one hour. We will then meet for coffee  and biscuits  in the Education Rooms before allowing each group to visit the other venue.

Members need to wear sensible shoes. The terrace talks start on the top terrace going to the lower terrace and then around the borders. Frances will have details of the names of all the plants for those keen gardeners who may want to know their names.

The walled garden talk will include the potting shed and glass houses and surrounding exterior borders.

Cost £10 to include refreshments.
