2024 Annual Quiz Night
Friday 13th September 2024
New teams, new winners, together with a traditional supper.
Over 40 guests attended our annual quiz night this year, with 9 teams taking part.
Our Quiz Mistress, Carolyn, provided four rounds of searching questions on General Knowledge, Geography and History, Sport, and Popular Music. With Jokers to be played and Table Questions featuring Island Pubs to be answered, this led to a most stimulating evening.
New overall winners, Table 5 claimed the Challenge Cup, with an impressive total including 100% on the table questions. The runners up position was claimed by Table 9, who were last year’s winners.
Mid way through the quiz, a tasty sausage and mash supper was served, provided by Osborne’s catering team led by Liam and chef Ray.
With plenty of prizes in the raffle to be won, and with the bar open throughout the evening, everybody felt like a winner.
