Visit to Quarr Abbey

Quarr Abbey welcomed many of our members on Wednesday of this week to a very enjoyable afternoon. The rain cleared and we were greeted by Tracy
Osborne, Director of Fundraising and were able to enjoy historic photos of the Abbey followed by a superb presentation in the courtyard by Dr.Dominic Fontana Chair of Friends of Quarr Abbey then taking us into the Abbey allowing photos to be taken which was a special time.
Tea followed in the cafe where delicious cakes with tea and coffee were waiting for us enjoyed by all.
Thank you to all those that attended helping us to raise important funds for Osborne.
