This promises to be a fascinating talk. From her isolated childhood brought up by a domineering mother, this talk, using much of Victoria’s talented art work, follows her life as she became heir to the throne aged 11 and Queen of the most powerful nation on earth when just 18.
Kevin Shaw read History at Cambridge, taught it for A-Level and Oxbridge-Entry for 20 years, and nowadays offers colourful, lively and fully-illustrated historical talks on a wide range of subjects to groups of all kinds – from local and national societies, to hotel guests and passengers on international cruise ships. Kevin’s talks are comprehensively illustrated with PowerPoint and delivered without notes.
