Trafalgar Day Walk to the Beach – 2019

A group of Friends dodged the showers and enjoyed an interesting and informative guided walk from our rooms to the beach with Toby Beasley the Head Gardener at Osborne.  Toby pointed out numerous trees explaining their origins, history and significance to the estate.  At the beach, sheltering in Queen Victoria’s Alcove, we enjoyed a glass of grog and celebrated Trafalgar Day in the traditional manner toasting Lord Nelson.
