Floral Arrangement Workshop

In the Education Suite
The workshop, which is open to members and their guests, will be led by Sue Swaby. Sue is a qualified florist and NAFAS Area Demonstrator, who is responsible for many of the amazing floral displays in the house at Osborne, will be showing us how to create an unusual table decoration for spring flowers. Bring along your favourite spring flowers together with scissors or secateurs suitable for cutting flowers and foliage – all other materials will be supplied.
Sue will demonstrate how to create the container first and everyone will then make their own. Following a demonstration of how to fill the containers with flowers, members will be able to complete their own designs using their chosen flowers and foliage. The foliage will be supplied. Sue will also demonstrate another design which can be tried later at home.
The session will conclude with tea and cake when there will be an opportunity to chat and ask questions.
